Brayden Stairmand is an Australian Photographer / Filmmaker and creative artist working in Darkinjung Country (The Central Coast). Based in a small coastal town, he grew up skateboarding, capturing the life around him on whatever camera he could get his hands on and dove headfirst into various cultures and any creative pursuits with an eagerness to make an impact. He wears many creative hats.

At the age of 15, he started his clothing brand 'CHILDS MIND' where he poured his creative influence into almost every aspect of the brand. Playing a roll in everything from creative direction, director of photography, art director, graphics design, web design, product design, content creation, to the fun task of screen printing and even modelling / styling the clothing. This was Brayden's way of creating a limitless opportunity to create anything his heart desired. CHILDS MIND hosted skate jams, pop-up shops and also created the opportunity for artists in the local community to collaborate on projects that would be shared amongst the Coast.

Brayden went on to travel the world, taking photos wherever his path led. Ultimately being indulged and inspired by the world, he went on to take photography more seriously. With new perspectives, he dived into behind the scenes video / photography work on music video shoots with some of the best talent in the Country with companies such as One Day Entertainment.

With a love for music, he also loves shooting event / live music photography. Capturing talent such as Posseshot, The Terrys, Beddy Rays and local music acts from across Australia.

In 2024 he became apart of the D&AD SHIFT Sydney programme. A workshop designed to help self made creatives get into a creative career by learning from industry professionals and working in teams on real world briefs from brands such as Mastercard, Pepsi and We Are Warriors.
